Join us for the Flames & Footsteps 5K, a high-energy community race hosted by the Brunswick Fire Foundation in support of Brunswick’s firefighters. This event combines fitness, family fun, and a chance to make a real impact—every step helps provide life-saving equipment for our department.
Whether you’re running for time, walking with friends, or cheering from the sidelines, there’s a place for everyone at this event.

📅 Date: Saturday, June 7, 2025
🕗 Time:
- 7:30 AM – Timed 5K Run Start
- 8:00 AM – Community Walk Start
📍 Location: Brunswick Fire Department Headquarters
🏷️ Entry Fee: $40 (Includes event t-shirt while supplies last) (Fire departments discounted to $30)
🎽 Registration: TBA

Why We Run
Proceeds from the Flames & Footsteps 5K will support the Brunswick Fire Foundation’s 2025 goal:
Replacing 50 aging SCBAs (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus) used by firefighters every day to breathe safely in dangerous environments.
Your participation helps us equip those who run toward danger with the tools they need to return safely home.
